Thanks for this video! I'm in australia but I want to advertise in usa. Do I still set the bid to $1 AUD or must I bid higher based in usd to aud conversion? Thanks so much

Hi Ben,

Yes, due to the currency conversion, you will more than likely need to bid higher than in an AU campaign. Keep an eye on the avg benchmark CPC, as a guide for when to go higher and lower in comparison to the competition.

Hi Sam, thanks for the value you are providing. I have one question regarding the shopping campaign. What I don't get is after setting up the campaign, how do you know where it is going to show up? We did not any keywords we want to target, why is that not possible with this campaign? With the example you have you probably want to target; “leather wallet” as a keyword. Thanks in advance!

Hi Jeroen,

Google will get all the information it needs from the product feed, that is why it is so important to make the feed as complete as possible and include all the required variables. At the same time, Negative keywords will help you sculpt the traffic from wrong keywords.

Hi, I'm having troubles setting up the campaign because google ads is claiming that my merchant account has no products. I have verified that my merchant account (linked) has 11 products. What can I do to get these products to show in google ads?

Hi James,

You should first check if the correct Google Ads account is linked to your Merchant Center account settings.

For this, you need to go to Tools > Linked accounts. Then, you needs to check under Products in the diagnostics tab of the GMC account if any of your products are disapproved. Lastly, you can check the Shopping Ads program from the left side menu in GMC. For this, go to Growth > Programs, and double-check if the Shopping Ads program is correctly configured.
