How to set up Product Reviews on your Google Shopping campaigns

Google Shopping product reviews are also Google Shopping ratings. These are the review stars that show up on your Google Shopping Ads.

They improve your click-through rate, help your ads stand out compared to competitors, and give you an extra edge for performance. Before your reviews can start showing up on your ads, you need to go over the process as mentioned in the video:

Step 1: Get approved for reviews

Step 2: Create your reviews feed

Step 3: Add reviews feed to Google Merchant Center

Step 4: Wait for approval

Once that is done, you can do the following steps to get setup.

Step 1: Enable the Product Ratings Program and get approved You’ll know you need to do this if you don’t see the “Product Reviews” menu item on the left-hand side of your Google Merchant Center account.

So follow the process I did in this video to enable it. After a few days, you’ll receive an email from Google confirming you can enter the program. Then, you should see “Product Reviews” on the left-hand side of the Google Merchant Center menu.

Step 2: Create your Google product review feed There are 2 main ways to set your Google Shopping reviews feed:

-Googles free setup process

-Third-party reviews app (stamped.io, yotpo, judge.me, etc.)

Step 3: Add Google Shopping reviews feed to Merchant Center As I’ve recommended in this video, Judge.me is one of the best review apps you can use when setting up your Google Shopping reviews.

Step 4: Wait for approval You’ll then need to wait until Google manually reviews the feed. This can sometimes happen quickly but can take up to 2 to 4 weeks.

Once this review process is finished, you’ll receive an email from Google, and our reviews will then show up on our Google Shopping ads.
