Section 3: Product Page Mastery Checklist

No English or Grammar Mistakes

Grammar and spelling mistakes—you definitely don't want them on your website copy, your description, or anywhere in your store. If you have these mistakes, then you’re failing at doing the main thing your site is used for, which is COMMUNICATING.

Here are my tips for improving your website and avoiding English and grammar mistakes.

1. Use a spell checker.
2. Read your content out loud before publishing it.
3. Get someone else to check it.

With all the preparation and checklists, it's very easy to miss the little details such as spelling and grammar errors on your website. So before hitting the PUBLISH button, I highly recommend that you go through all the pages of your website with a fine-tooth comb and proofread your content over and over again until you're really satisfied with the quality of your website copy.

I also recommend using Grammarly. It's a really great tool for checking the quality of your content. You can copy and paste the content and directly run it on the Grammarly website or you can install it in your Chrome browser so it automatically checks your content as you add them. The free plan is okay but if you want to get access to other great features like tone adjustments, plagiarism detection, and word choice improvement.

I recommend signing up for the Premium Plan which starts at $12 per month 👉
